Audience Interviews
Participants
In our audience interviews we asked several people a set of questions pertaining towards the Horror trailer we are going to make, we asked a multitude of questions about what Horror genres they liked, how Horror films make them feel and what age rating they would generally associate Horror films with. The audience interviews will be used as essentially audience feedback. We will take into account what has been said by our participants and use what they say to our advantage and mold our Horror trailer project towards these preferences suggested. The audience interviews we conducted were rather positive and most of our participants enjoyed Horror films to some extent at least and where able to provide some very good insight into their thoughts and opinions.
To improve our audience interviews, we could have asked a much wider range of individuals to participate. Having more participants in our audience interviews means we would have a wider feedback sample to take into account and we could use that information to continue to shape our plans for our trailer project. Gathering a more wider range of individuals in to participate could have included a much more wide age range and including more females in our interviews as we lacked any female opinion in our audience interviews. Another way we could have improved the information from our audience interviews would be to include more in depth questions for the participants to answer. This would allow more in-depth information relayed back to us so we could continue to refine our plans for the trailer project and continue to tailor it towards our target market.

During the audience interviews we asked one person, Harry Croose to participate, this is a log of the more detailed answers shared,
Interviewer: Please state your name
Harry Croose: My name is Harry Croose
Interviewer: What age are you?
Harry Croose: I am 17 years of age
Interviewer: Do you enjoy Horror Films?
Harry Croose: Oh yes, absolutely, I love Horror films
Interviewer: When you do watch Horror, what genre is you favourite: Slasher, Supernatural, Monster or Other?
Harry Croose: For me its probably between Zombies and Supernatural because I like the post apocalyptic side of horrors so Zombie fits with this.
Interviewer: How do Horrors make you feel: Happy, Excited, Scared, Nervous or Other?
Harry Croose: Petrified, I'll tell you though, the thing about Horror that makes the some good is that it makes you feel like you are right there as it gets your emotions really involved unlike other genres
Interviewer: What would you typically rate a Horror film?
Harry Croose: I guess it kind of depends on what kind of horror you are trying to do, but i guess 16 and above because of the rise of web 2.0 the younger generations are getting involved with more mature stuff.
