WORKS ON FINAL SHOT
Beneath our YouTube logo on the final shot of the trailer project we have the name of the channel where the trailer can be found for later viewings on YouTube (in this case the trailer can be viewed from the channel Churchdown Media). The Twitter logo has the Twitter hashtag beneath it. On Twitter, the hashtag is a means for people to directly discuss the product. All tweets on Twitter with the same hashtag will be grouped together and can be found by searching for the hashtag in the Twitter search.
Our hashtag (#FeelTheFear2017) is what people will be able to use on Twitter to discuss our trailer. Beneath the Facebook logo is the page name where people can like to keep up with all the latest in news and video footage on our trailer project. In editing we changed the colour scheme of the logos to help coincide with our overall aesthetic and theme of our trailer project. Our editing software, Final Cut Pro features a colour editing option for images by using the colour board function. The colour board options for the different logos where all the same at the following settings,

The Final Shot refers to the very last shot in the entire trailer project. The Final Shot in our trailer project contains the release date of the film and the various social media locations where more information can be found about our product to the viewer if they are interested.
We used Facebook and Twitter as a way to advertise the trailer towards out viewers. Facebook is a social media where people can like our page online and be able to view new posts from us whenever they are posted, this way they can keep up to date on all the latest trailers, commentaries and behind the scenes footage. Twitter is a very similar social media except just a different platform. People will be able to follow our account on Twitter and keep up to data with all the latest posts as they are uploaded. YouTube is not necessarily a social media platform but the platform is the biggest community online video service on the net. YouTube can be used as an advertising platform with us being able to place our trailers on videos for people to watch as an advertisement, this can help spread awareness of our product. We can also create our own YouTube channel where we can upload all trailers and footage online for people to watch. Then viewers can subscribe to our channel to keep up with the latest videos and information on our product. All of the logos and the text pertaining to them where coloured red to coincide with the theme of the trailer of it being a Horror film with the Slasher sub-genre. We decided that the general release date for the full film would be Halloween 2017 as we thought that would theoretically give the film enough post-production time to be finished for an appropriate time of the year. |
