Evaluation Q3
What have you learned from your audience feedback?
Once finishing the trailer project as well as the Magazine and Poster we decided to get feedback on our projects online. We decided to share them on Facebook to the school's local Facebook page and ask for feedback. Feedback is a very important thing to receive on project like this. Feedback can help us assess what has gone well with our projects, what was not so good and gives us time to either improve it to fix these issues and make the projects even better than before, or we could take the feedback into consideration and use it to better ourselves towards the next project we decide to do and use the feedback to make sure the next time isn't affected by the same issues.

What was the Response?
The Trailer project 'Forsaken' has been very well received by our audience based on the written feedback on the school's local Facebook Page. The Trailer has been praised for being very professional as well as very atmospheric and scary. The soundtrack has been praised as being very fitting of the video clips as they happen. We received some criticisms on the Trailer like the background of the ending portion with the title and social media icons is too distracting and this the title blends with the background.

Response to the Magazine and Poster have been very positive based on the feedback from the local Facebook page online. Praise has been given to the professionalism of our Magazine Cover and Poster projects from our audience. We have given a few potential improvements to our content from the people who commented feedback, some of their input was they did not like the background of the Magazine Cover too much and some of the images on the Magazine Cover could have been a little better as they look 'Photoshopped' in places.
Conclusion
Overall, the Trailer, Magazine Cover and Poster projects have all been rather well received from the audience as shown through their commented feedback. We have learned that for our next project we should work a little more on making sure all of the smaller details of our projects are as good as they can possibly be in order for the product to be most effective. Our Magazine Cover did have a few minor criticisms that could easily be corrected with some tweaks and a little extra time to change them to something better or more refined. Our Poster was received really well with its non-distracting background behind the eye-catching and foreboding image of the killers mask. One of the only criticisms with the Poster was that the lighting when taking the image of the mask could have been a little better as the mask has a small amount of reflective light on the nose mould that is a little out of place in the rest of the atmosphere we have created with the Poster. The Trailer project was also well received with criticisms coming from a slightly blurry shot in the beginning of the Trailer and the fact that the ending background where the titles blend in with the background as it is a little distracting.
All of these issues are very minor and with a little more extra time we could easily correct them to produce a new version of each of these projects that are more effective and successful than our current ones. The feedback we have received has been extremely helpful in highlighting the area's where we could improve in both the current designs and the way we make the products. These valuable pieces of feedback will be taken into consideration and kept in mind for similar future projects. With this informative feedback we can learn from these mistakes and improve ourselves in the future. |
